Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers about pet-hair-resistant performance, choosing the right product, sizing and everyday care.

Product Performance

What does “pet-hair-resistant” mean?

It means the fabric surface is designed to make loose pet hair easier to remove during everyday cleanup. CASUCA uses smooth, closely constructed surfaces that give loose fur fewer places to catch or work deeply into the fabric. Hair may still land on the bedding, but more of it stays near the surface so it can be shaken away more easily.

Is CASUCA bedding pet-hair-proof?

No. CASUCA bedding is not “pet-hair-proof” or “fur-free,” and it does not stop pets from shedding. Its surface and construction are designed to reduce how strongly loose hair clings, making routine cleanup easier. Results can vary with coat type, the amount of shedding, static, humidity and how the product is used.

How does the fabric help reduce pet-hair cling?

A smooth, tightly constructed surface gives loose hair fewer open spaces and textured fibers to catch on. The Peecatboo fabric is a knitted blend of 80% polyester and 20% spandex, and its designated face side is the pet-hair-resistant side. Use that side as directed so the fabric can perform as intended. Loose surface hair can then be shaken away more easily between washes.

Does CASUCA bedding work for long-haired cats and dogs?

CASUCA bedding is suitable for long-haired cats, long-haired dogs and many other pets with softer loose fur, but it is not recommended as a hair-release solution for short-haired dogs. Short, stiff dog hairs can act like tiny bristles and become lodged in textile surfaces, so they may not shake away as easily. Results can still vary with coat texture, shedding level, static and household conditions.

Choosing the Right Product

Which CASUCA bedding set is right for me?

Choose the Cooling Pet Hair-Resistant 4-Piece Bedding Set if cool-touch comfort is your priority, and choose the Peecatboo set if you prefer its deeper fitted-sheet pocket and two-tone design. The Cooling set is designed for warm sleepers, warmer rooms and breathable comfort. Peecatboo focuses on keeping loose hair on the designated face side for easier daily cleanup and has a 15.7-inch / 40 cm fitted-sheet pocket.

How do I choose between Full/M and Queen/L?

Measure your mattress and duvet insert before choosing; do not rely on the size name alone. Full/M and Queen/L are CASUCA size families and may not match every standard North American mattress. Compare these actual measurements before ordering:

  • Cooling Full/M fitted sheet: 57.1 × 72.8 in / 145 × 185 cm, with a 13.8 in / 35 cm pocket
  • Cooling Queen/L fitted sheet: 66.9 × 74.8 in / 170 × 190 cm, with a 13.8 in / 35 cm pocket
  • Peecatboo Full/M fitted sheet: 59.1 × 78.7 in / 150 × 200 cm, with a 15.7 in / 40 cm pocket
  • Peecatboo Queen/L fitted sheet: 70.9 × 78.7 in / 180 × 200 cm, with a 15.7 in / 40 cm pocket

The Full/M duvet cover measures 78.7 × 90.6 in / 200 × 230 cm, and the Queen/L duvet cover measures 86.6 × 94.5 in / 220 × 240 cm. Both sets include 18.9 × 29.1 in / 48 × 74 cm pillowcases.

Which pillow is suitable for side and back sleepers?

The CASUCA Contour Memory Foam Pillow is designed for both back and side sleepers. Its lower 3.1-inch / 8 cm side offers gentler elevation for back sleeping, while the higher 3.9-inch / 10 cm edge provides additional space for the shoulder when side sleeping. The height is fixed rather than adjustable, and your ideal side will also depend on shoulder width, body type and mattress firmness.

Are the bedding sets sold with inserts?

No. Pillow inserts and duvet inserts are not included. Each CASUCA four-piece bedding set contains one fitted sheet, one duvet cover and two pillowcases. The duvet cover includes internal ties to help hold a compatible insert in place. Please compare the listed duvet-cover and pillowcase dimensions with your existing inserts before ordering.

Care

How do I remove pet hair between washes?

Shake the bedding to release loose surface hair between washes. Peecatboo is designed so much of the loose fur can be removed through this simple reset without extra tools. Do not scrub or use a brush on Peecatboo bedding; its official care instructions specifically advise against brush cleaning. Regular shaking can also reduce unnecessary rewashing.

How should I wash and dry CASUCA bedding?

Wash CASUCA bedding gently at or below 86°F / 30°C with a mild, pH-neutral detergent, then line dry away from strong, prolonged sunlight. Before washing Peecatboo bedding, shake off surface hair, place the set in a laundry bag, wash it separately and turn the duvet cover inside out. Keep cold-water soaking to five minutes or less, do not scrub with a brush, and make sure the bedding is completely dry before storing it.

Can I use bleach or fabric softener?

Do not use bleach, and follow the care label for your specific item before using fabric softener. Bleach can damage the fabric and its finish. The Cooling Bedding Set specifically instructs customers not to use fabric softener. For other CASUCA products, use only a small amount of mild, pH-neutral detergent unless the product-level care instructions state otherwise.

How often should pet-friendly bedding be washed?

There is no single calendar schedule that works for every pet-friendly home. Wash the bedding when it is visibly soiled, after accidents or spills, or when odor and buildup appear. Between washes, shake away loose hair and follow the product care label to avoid unnecessary washing.
